Using an installation profile (RECOMENDED)

The theme uses a Drupal installation profile to make the installation the simplest process possibly. So to get the exact same look and feel as the demo (as a starting point) do the following steps :

  1. Copy the content of the zip file "simplicity" in the "Main Sources" to your Web server (eg : /puclic_html/www folder).
  2. Run your drupal installation choosing "Simplicity theme pack" as the installation profile (in the first step of the installation)
  3. Enjoy your theme!

Uploading database to get the demo content

Another option to get the demo content and features from the theme is by uploading the database provided in the folder "database" of the them main zip folder. For this you will have to follow the steps described bellow :

  1. Copy the content of the "themes" folder in the theme zip file "simplicity" in the "Main Sources" folder to your Drupal's "/sites/all/themes/" folder. This will copy Simplicity theme to your Drupal installation.
  2. Copy the modules from the folder sites/all/modules of the zip file "simplicity" in the "Main Sources" folder to your Drupal's "/sites/all/modules/" folder. This will provide the modules required by the theme to give access to the demo data.
  3. Copy the contents from the folder sites/all/libraries of the zip file "simplicity" in the "Main Sources" folder to your Drupal's "/sites/all/libraries/" folder. This will provide the modules required libraries used by the theme.
  4. Copy the contents from the folder "files" in the "Database" folder (inside "Main sources") to your Drupal's "/sites/default/files/" folder. This will put the right files for demo content in Drupal's files folder.
  5. Access you database administrator page (phpMyadmin for example) and upload the database file "simplicity.sql" provided in the "Database" folder (inside the "Main sources") folder to your own database.
  6. Provide the necessary access in the file "sites/default/settings" to allow Drupal to access your database.
  7. Enjoy your theme!

Install on an existing site

  2. Copy the contents of the folder "modules" in the folder "Existing site" in the "Main Sources" folder to your Drupal's "/sites/all/modules/" folder. This will provide the modules required by the theme.
